I'm a student, but work on open source software in my free time, and am currently involved in semantic mapping for MediaWiki. I also participated in Google Summer of Code 2009.

I'm ISTP, just like my heroine Amelia Earhart. I too am lost in the middle of a large body of water. Put me in the middle of a large body of Whisky, however, and I have no problems.

"The SHOJI will soon be “field tested” at Tokyo-area companies, hospitals and in residential settings, suggesting that the creators are serious about this psuedoscientific hogwash. Even so, it’s still far better than the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, which is just as silly but doesn’t have the benefit of making your office look like a 1980s strip club."

I'm ESTP and I've been a programmer all my career.
I've found that the best ones are generally smarter and more sociable allround!
INTJ - a bit of a stereotype if you ask me!!!

I don't agree that it is a stereotype if the data proves it.
The bad part comes in when people start to use this tool as a strict hiring compass.

When I voted more than 50% of us were INTJ's
I was cool with being an INTJ until I saw that woman, the one who's name I refuse to even think, is also an INTJ, and I'm not thinking of Marie Curie - so I'm off to see my shrink to get a personality transplant.

I might not agree with much of what Ayn Rand wrote but I do respect her intellectual rigour.
However for Mrs Greywater I've no respect of any kind. Think - what 'colors' make grey, then add a 'water' to the end of each thereof, you should now know who I'm talking about.

When prediction serves as polemic, it nearly always fails. Our prefrontal lobes can probe the future only when they aren’t leashed by dogma. The worst enemy of agile anticipation is our human propensity for comfy self-delusion. David Brin
