Your bank details, health details, "personal" photos. If 1 = "I have zero trust", and 5 means "I trust them completely", how do you rate the big guys?

Excellent point. Must be a continuum

So as zero trust is much more likely than infinite trust I can only guess that they mean:
0 <= trust < 1
1 <= trust < 2
2 <= trust < 3
3 <= trust < 4
4 <= trust < 5
So the numbers represent the (exclusive) upper bounds? Still confusing but < is twice as fast to type as <= in code.
