I just noticed a bug. I had 4 messages, clicked the "select all" checkbox, then clicked the button to mark them all as read. It then said "You have no notifications" (BTW, maybe end that in a period?), but the checkbox remained (the checkbox should disappear like the rest of the UI).

And another bug, if the check to the side of the nofification is clicked, it leads to a 404 not found page.

Still, opening in tabs directly would help. I don't want to click every notification to get the thread link. That just doubles my click and also is time taking.

OK, I didn't realise you meant that.
They aren't openable in separate tabs. The link just expands the content.
The one thing I was planning on doing was adding a "Go to..." link that would take you to the item in question.

Depends on if you click from the notifications page or the notifications hover element at the top of each page.

Red notification box only shows while we reply to some post. It's chrome.
while with IE it's showing every time.

Yeah, I've seen lots of inconsistencies between the number at the top of the page and the actual number of notifications.
Pretty sure both issues are due to caching.

There are a lot of old projects on CodeProject.com that have useful code, but no license is attached. However, according to a comment at this link (http://tinyurl.com/c4tzbsr), CodeProject used to require code authors to agree to the following statement when they posted their work:
"If you post to CodeProject then you retain copyright of your article and code. You also give CodeProject permission to use it in a fair manner and also permit other developers to use the sourcecode associated with your articles in their own applications as long as they do not remove your copyright notices or try and take credit for your work."
If you follow the link in the comment you can see that things have changed and the above text is no longer on the submission page. But I've seen this text posted elsewhere, so I assume this is how it used to be.
So the question is, is it ok for me to use this non-licensed code in my commercial software, given that the authors that posted their code would have agreed to the above statement? I would not be re-distributing the source code, just compiling it into my application executable, if that makes a difference.

Same answer as below. You aren't providing derivative source, you are using the code in a closed source application. As long as the copyright is till in place, you are good to go.

Hi,
i don't know if this is available.
What is CodeProject API i am asking for : Any User can do all the work through code (C# API call) like login/logout into CP,get questions,get comments, reply for particular question, post an article (Everything).
Reason for Asking this Question : it would be great if we have Outlook like CodeProject desktop version.
I don't know how many people prefer desktop application more then web-based. but if CP provides some API then we can create some notification application, CP on Desktop or more.
Let me know if my question is not clear. Hoping for your reply.
