I don't check CP on weekends, so normally when I get back monday morning, there's a lot of new stuff around.
This time I noticed this in QA:
This answer posted by [Name] on [Date] has been removed.
Even answers provided by well-known and respected CP members, so it can't only be spam removal...
So my question is: Has somebody started censoring QA and removing less than diplomatic answers?
I don't necessarily have a problem with that, but it leaves other questions open, like:
1) Where do you draw the line?
2) Who should be judging what's appropriate and not?
And more like that, I'm sure...

Can you post a link to a specific question that shows these messages? Chances are the answer was spam or simply inappropriate.

I know the question here is kind of stupid and probably deserves flaming, but In my experience, Christian and Abhinav normally deliveres quite kind remarks compared to a few others. That's why I thought it looked strange...

Sometimes answers simply aren't needed and either the author of the answer realises this and removes their answer, or an answer is considered completely irrelevant and unhelpful.

It looks like the original post date for the article is April 1st 2010. This means it won't be applicable to the June competition

I happen to follow you initially. Your articles are impressive. You are in the big league..
But me, I initially thought that these competitions are not for us 'who are non native English speakers'. But suddenly with couple of my previous articles I was getting better, and started to feel more confident. Then with my last article, I realized that I too can win and I am also in that big league. But I was not lucky, that article was not being selected for the competition.. not a big thing.. I will give it another try if they didn’t find a workaround to get me in this time.. Anyway there are much better articles in the list than mine too..

Thanks for the reply.
Yes, the original post date was April. But that was not the published date. I kept on editing it without making it public. Somewhere in the middle of June only I published it.
So I think there is a mistake in the logic you guy use to find articles belong to a particular month. I think it has to be the published date not the date that I add the article to your version control system.
Let me know, if I am not right..

If that's so then yeah, it's this date that should be used when deciding whether an article fits within a competition date range. Until that's resolved, I guess authors could delete and make a fresh submission when they think the article's ready.

I have to give 5 multiple time and check it again every time.
I.e. Whenever I click a vote (in forums), it shows that I voted, but as soon as the page is refreshed my vote just disappears.
Hopefully this is not a case of late updating of votes.

That probably is a caching issue: only one server knows about your vote right away; the others get informed with some delay (up to some minutes). You can verify by recalling that page several times, watching for the server identification (first word on the last line of every page).
