Makes sense to me. It is a thread about whether people should be allowed to delete messages or not. I thought that the act of deleting a message was a wonderful idea.

I understand that u deleted some messages.... but it would have been wiser at your side, if you 'edit'ed the message by leaving an information that this message is deleted for 'so and so' reasons.
Its upto the message's owner to delete the message and make the forum look like this... or to modify and leave the forum as it was normal.

In every description of this site (including the title, or even the <meta keywords> section) figures Free Source Code and Tutorials. I've found (once) the source code, but never found any tutorial.
Where could I find these famous tutorials?

Would it be possible in the programming forums to add a search box and button for comments in that forum that open up into a new window? So many times, the same questions are asked over and over again. It gets very tiresome.
It wouldn't even have to be large. Perhaps a little blurb about looking first then a simple intput type="text" with a button next to it would be great.

Just adding the forums to the search options would be nice. Much of what I find valuable here is not in the articles, but in the programming forums or general discussions in the Lounge and Soapbox areas.

Any chance of adding some more graphs to the demographics section:
1. Number of users with a given level
Platinum users: 3
Gold users : 150
Silver users : 25000
Bronze users : 500000
Not rated: 300000
2. Number of articles submitted by authors
1 - 4 articles : 3000
5 - 8 articles : 2000
9 - 12 articles : 20
13-16 articles : 8
17 - 20 articles : 3
21 - 24 articles : 2
25+ articles : 4
3. Users joining per month:
Show how many new users joined the CP community every month
There are probably meny other types of charts you could accomplish, e.g. new articles per month, updates per month

I'd like to have the option (not necessary on the main page) to see the city/state/province/planet of origin, as well.

How about something like

5 Vote --> 3
4 Vote -->10
..
..
1 Vote --> 10000000000 and still counting

Hello,
I've been visting CP for quite a while now and i've lost the dynamic view on all thread in all boards. The FAQ says that:
I'm running IE or Netscape 6 but I don't see all these options in the 'View' dropdown. Why?
Sometimes add-ins such as WebWasher or other web page cleaners change the user-agent string for your browser. This string identifies which type of browser you are running, and if the scripts don't detect IE or Netscape then the extra options won't be available.
I have IE 6 and haven't installed any add-ins (atleast not without my knowledge). Infact the site: http://www.esperance-linux.co.uk/misc/UserAgent.html reports my user-agent string to be Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0; Avant Browser [avantbrowser.com]; .NET CLR 1.0.3705)
Any ideas why i've lost the dynamic view? Is it related to member status now?
Thanks in advance,
Jignesh

....for errors/bugs ecountered in CP. That way, we don't have to air them out in the Lounge for everyone to see. Plus, we can always check with this forum to see if the bug encountered is new or if there's any way to deal with it.
Just a thought.

You mean CP isn't 100% reliable?
(He says, after getting HTTP 500 errors all Sunday )
Maybe just rename "Suggestions" to "Suggestions/Site Issues"?

When an error occurs there is a line in the error page saying "The webmaster has been informed". It's true.

Dont ya think that a better formal static page of codeproject with the error message should have been shown.
