This I experienced at "CP Home":
1.) Under "Our Cummunity" you see about the six latest posts.
2.) Now in case you click one, _and_the one starts exactly at the second,third,... page's top you will _not_ come to the expected topic.
I recognized this first on the post The Lounge[^], ok that is now not longer important.
Sorry 1: To @jorgen_andersson, I used your The Lounge[^] to verify it
Sorry 2: I think my explanation is hard to understand.

We need a way to identify posts as "Liberal BullSh*t".
".45 ACP - because shooting twice is just silly" - JSOP, 2010 ----- You can never have too much ammo - unless you're swimming, or on fire. - JSOP, 2010 ----- When you pry the gun from my cold dead hands, be careful - the barrel will be very hot. - JSOP, 2013

Why stop there? Why not add "Conservative bullshit", "Right-wing nut-job", etc?
Simple solution: If you don't like seeing other people's views expressed freely, then don't visit the Soapbox.

Wow - we're touchy today, aren't we?

Touchy or not, his post is getting the up-votes so somebody obviously agrees with him
|
|
|

Touchy? I'm not the one who's suggesting that posts he disagrees with have a special flag so he doesn't have to read them.
I appreciate your suggestion was probably meant as a joke, but this isn't really the right place for it.

Just realised it's possible to be nice to people in the Soapbox - is that a feature slip?

That bug's been there for years. We've had our best techs on it but we can't seem to squash it.

Check again. You can only be nice to masochists.

If I am at the bottom of a page and have the last reply open then when I hit the 'next' page button it is very close to the abuse button on the reply.
Not sure if I have actually hit the abuse button accidently although I might have done so today.

I'm open to suggestions as to where it could be placed.

There are three icons in that group. Maybe move them to the left a bit. That of course puts it over the page '11'/'10' but I suspect those are used far less.
Or looks like there is some empty real estate to move it to the right edge just up a bit.
Or perhaps add a formatting change so if the last reply on a page is opened then there is a border on it which pushes the page bar down a bit.

I've had the same thought as jschell, "Did I just click abuse? I certainly hope not!"
Perhaps change the order about? The Get permanent link, bookmark this, and # upvotes don't have a dropdown associated with them so they wouldn't be as likely to cause problems. Normally I'm trying to click the "Next »" link when the flag message menu pops up. As far as usability goes, I don't usually click on a specific page number while I'm reading through the forums anyway. First and Next page links are what I use 99% of the time.
If not that, maybe have a confirmation prompt for abuse reports? That might be overkill though. Trying to keep the balance between ease of use and making it harder to abuse/misclick.

As almost every week, reputation is broken since Sunday 0 hours (Toronto time).
No points for discussions, messages or QA solutions
But Accepted solutions are working fine.
8 hours broken and counting. New record ?

I think this is a known issue or they had some data issues about this and I believe they have been working on them.
My thought: patience.

As I have already reported, this problem have been here weekly for ages.
But usually for no more than 3 hours.
