Isn't that most annoying? (For practice, edit a web page in NotePad with Word Wrap turned OFF.) For every article in the latest C# update e-mail that I wanted to view, I had to scroll left-right to read every line in the article. In fact, even the page this message is being entered on requires horizontal scrolling. That puts a serious damper on my desire to read any of the articles.
I run 1024x786 and maximize my browser. I prefer to keep my Favorites open on the left border of the browser, and it occupies 10-15% of the screen. One article I looked at today was wider than my screen even after I closed the Favorites bar. I gave up on that one and did not read it. Its value to me plummeted to zero.
Of course, I could go to 1280x1024 (I think this monitor supports it) and the articles might fit, but then I wouldn't be able to read them because the characters would be too small. Still zero value.
I see in the source for this page that at least one table width is specified at 100%, which should be scalable. Since it's not, I would guess that one of the files referenced in the standard page header is specifying a fixed width of over 1000 and preventing the rest of the page from scaling properly.
Please take a look at what you can do about this.

Nope - after the recent site update, some of the articles do scroll - it's a known issue.

I have tweaked.

Now this site color and design all are looking more nice than the earlier version. The Search option in each and every page in top most line of page is very good. If the search combox is having three options then that can be some more nice. For now it is having the options in combobox as "Articles" and "Authors". But if that combo box has one more option with "Message Boards" Then that can be very very good I hope.
I am not saying just it is very easy, means it is not adding one word ("Message Boards") to the combobox, It also needs some functionality. It may take some time. But this is jusy my suggistion only. Thanks for all the providers for providing this kind of very nice service using this Code Project.

I have a small problem with my profile.
I am listed as a bronze member even though I have over 2 years of membership and posted messages. Can anyone help me with this? I'd like to get to the next level.

I better get started then. I've been meaning to write an article for some time but hadn't got the time. Hopefully I'll get a change next weekend.

Same here. I have a few articles in the pipeline just about ready to submit, but man, time is just one of those things I don't seem to have much of

I know how that feels. My other big problem is the internet connection. The only serious provider is not making any more contracts for another two months or so, because their setting up a fiber optic network in the whole city. So I'm stuck for the moment with dial-up, and the speed sucks big time. Usually around 5k. Not to mention the expensive phone bill

I'm using RSS Bandit, and the items in the Lounge RSS feed sometimes become right-aligned and italicized.
While I'm not completely sure, I believe it happens for all posts below Sarath's post. Maybe his sig is improperly formed.

Has there ever been any discussion as to having a unique view counter, well almost unique, based on the user viewing it. A Database space saver, would be to store a cookie on the author's browser and say, not increment the view, if it is them.

It would be nice if the articles listed would indicate the technology (C#, MFC, etc.)
CP has evolved from "Mostly MFC" to "lots of stuff", so article titles aren't as informative as they used to be. (I don't care about "Process Information in VB", but "in raw Win32" might be interesting to me)
