I'm using Internet Explorer 7 beta 3. I'm always sign in, then I have tried sign out in order to register my friend and I can't!
Then I changed to Firefox 1.5.0.4, and I can sign out, but the link to Join, where is??? I'm blind or this link disappeared. In order, appear:
Email[textbox] Password[textbox] Remember me? Lost your password?
How I do to register now???

Solution:
1. Go to main page
2. Find big orange link that says "Join Codeproject" (center, near the top)
3. Click link
4. Fill out form
5. Enjoy CP membership

The formatting buttons in the post editor appear to be noop'd, at least in IE.

1. The forums in the menu should really be in alphabetical listing. It would make things a lot easier.
2. When modifying a message, it would be nice if the message and signature were reseparated. In case HTML tags were being used in one, but not the other. You'll probably need a sig tag to parse. Good job on hiding the MODIFIED text in the subject so that we can't remove it. And also for deleting the timestamps associated with the. Much obliged. It was CPhog all along. It's dead now and works the old way.

If people want to go to a specific forum directly, they can always bookmark it, can't they?

True. But even for visits to forums that are less frequent, this would make a technical advantage. The next level, we can make it more extensible and user-friendly, in terms of Smart Error messages like /aspnet20. Is'nt it?

Yeah, it rocks. I've been using it for a year or so now.

In case you're confused about Shog's reply try FF, GM & CPHog
As of how to accomplish this I wouldn't have a clue at the moment and I'm too lazy to google it

On the homepage, there is a combo box, with "Got Programming question" as the first element, and then in the list, Soapbox is one of the item.
After soapbox is selected and if we try to post a message, there is a bold red line at the top. "Please do NOT post programming questions or ads to this forum."
This flow does not seem to be correct.

Wont is be comfortable if the orginal message is displayed while we "modify" our reply?. Sometimes If we want to quote a line from the original message while modifiying, we need to open a separate page to read it again and copy the text to be quoted from that page. So my suggestion is simple. For "modify", why not we have the same options as we have for a "reply". 1.which displays the original message, 2. Which has "quote selected text" option.

It would be far nicer if suggestions were voted 1 to 5. "Me too" posts just add clutter.

and i'd ask more !!!
sometimes, the original message is very long (too much of code, copied/pasted), and not every time we need to quote either, so the request would be :
is it mossible to add a bit of javascript to collapse/expand the original message when we do reply to someone ?

How do I find the post another post was replying to? In a thread which has many posts the reply and the post replied to can be separated by a large distance, often larger then the height of your screen. Finding the reply in this case is hard. Clicking the "View Thread" button doesn't seem to help. For example go here[^] and click the "View Thread" button and you can't even see the post on which you clicked the button. I would suggest the following:
The "View Thread" button should pick out a thread, which is the chain of posts ending with the post you clicked the "View Thread" button on, proceeding backwards by following the parent chain until the founding post is reached.
