When using Ctrl+Arrow on the first page, it goes directly to the second thread even though the first thread is not open to read.

Is already known as CP task #755; I reported it seven months ago here[^].

Yes, but it needed independent verification.

you got it. I'm very independent.

I can verify that as well.

In the "What is 'The Code Project'?" page, you have postedeach without a space in the Articles section.
Also, why is it called Guide to The Code Project in the page?

I know that the The Code Project Discussion Boards[^] (yes, I added an extra the) code is available for download. I'm curious if there are other things, such as your custom log parser, that are also available somewhere? Why isn't that page linked in the "What is 'The Code Project'?" page?
Have a need for that since I'm not too happy with some of the other freely available one.

As far as I know the code in the article was redesigned and rewritten (in fact CP moved to ASP.NET several years ago if you remember). So I don't think any of CP's current codebase is available to download.

If you are, and you are fine with the StackoverFlow model, then their code is available for download. I don't know what license it's under though.

Will have to try it out, especially if it supports embedding photos.
The CP page was updated in 2010. Is that minor updates or the latest up to that point?

The last real update was in Aug 2001. The March 2010 update did nothing but change a few tags to be more html compliant. Like <b> to <strong>. It is just a minor formatting edit although it's not marked as one.

As pointed out, that version is ancient. I bug Maunder about breaking out a new version every few months (consider yourself bugged ) because I want to use it as the basis of a project of my own. The issue is that it's too dependent on the rest of the CP site framework to trivially fork out a standalone version, and various users (myself included) keep providing a steady stream of bug reports/feature requests that take priority.

Somedays I really think I should just rewrite the lot.
Oh, wait, I already did that

You know what they say. 3rd time's the charm, and if you explicitly make the forum engine independent of the rest of he site from the start you'll be able to publish it as an article as soon as it's done.

I deleted few and then left it. Thought, would be better to nuke the user directly as it looked to me that the user is currently active.

When editing a question in the Q&A forum, you can see a live preview of the message just below it. When adding carriage returns between lines, the preview window is not updated unless you add some non-whitespace characters and then delete them.

I already reported that one as well.
The source in this article only works if you purchase the 3rd party software. (I won't provide the free advertising by mentioning the product name here)
I wasn't, now I am, then I won't be anymore.

Marcus, it was not about the article.
It was about an advertisement message (about a skin care cream ) from the discussion board of the article.
This message is now removed and my link become irrelevant, so I decided to delete the link.

Nuri

I have figured out why I couldn't see any replies. The Thread View layout is not working...at least for me.

thank God. Someone else has the same damn problem as me. Now I know it is just not me.

Ditto for me. Each thread shows that it only has one post (regardless of the actual number) and therefor does not let me expand it.
It's doing that in in both Chrome and IE8.
