I deleted his answers. Now admins can take care of his account.

For these folks leave it to the admins to delete the account, which will remove the messages.
When you draw attention to such a person here everyone should troll over to his/her profile and go through their messages down-voting them. That way we can try for a CP record negative score.

Will remember that from now onwards.

We can get some buffer overflow error on CP servers by putting too much negative votes.

If he is a spammer, he's not very good at it. Have you tried the link? It is a 404.
I wasn't, now I am, then I won't be anymore.

Oops, it is me. I'd extra '[^]' in the linked url. Fixed now.

There's a question there that looks like a button. It doesn't go anywhere if you click it. How did that happen?
EDIT ================
Okay - I fixed it by viewing the page source and retrieving the actual URL of the question, and then changing his title, but his original title looked like this:
button disable="disable" does not work in code behind.
Is there something about putting that particular phrase in as title (button disable="disable" ) that somehow screws up the layout?

It'd be interesting to hear how normal text was converted into a valid html tag there. I bet there's an interesting story there!

Maybe for every down vote, you need to give someone else an up vote to show you're not just a spammer? Just a though. Carry on ... reading.

Yes buddy, I also faced the same thing. My further analysis report says that the vote is submitting to CP database but throwing error in the UI front. May be some BUG.

They are on the case.
It throws the exception message, but the vote IS counted.

All fixed. A tiny oversight in a large refactoring, and unit testing Ajax pages has always been a struggle for us.

I've encountered this before but didn't think too much about it. Now it has occurred again and just wanted to ask what to make of this. In my table of recent reputation points I found this entry:
7 Feb 2011 18:36 PM Answer Upvoted Authority Article C# Is it possible to convert a point or location to an int? -40
Can somebody explain this to me?

If someone changes their vote, or a vote is deleted, then you lose the points associated with that vote, and will get different points if the vote was changed.
If the vote was for a pending article then we clear all votes on pending articles when they go live in order to give articles that are in incubation, so to speak, a fresh start.

Thanks for clearing that up.

If that's the case I think you should update the messages shown in rep history to be more clear. These are probably too long, but:
+/- XX points - vote changed/deleted, old points revoked.
+/- XXX points - votes cleared when article moved from pending to approved.

I thought that was a fair question, can't see why down voted, +5 to compensate.
