Your timezone was probably preset correctly (we ask your browser "what time is it?" and go from there) but your country was set using an IP-to-location lookup, which are never 100% accurate. Feel free to correct our geographically challenged system.

Can't seem to find this person via Who's who filter my name, even if I copy and paste the name from the interview....nothing.

They are coder interviews, rather than Code Project member interviews.

Okay, if they are "coder" interviews and they are not members then where did CP get these guys? Why are they being interviewed before some of our other great coders here in our own community?
Just wondering.

CP has asked some of the more active coders (e.g. those who agreed to be interviewed) who they wanted interviewing. These interviews are based off community feedback.

We've reached out to many more great coders in our own community and will continue to do so. There are some CP-related dev interviews coming, but the intent has always been to extend interviews beyond CP community.

One of the things we're doing with the coder interviews is bringing folks from the larger developer community to the attention of the CodeProject community. In the process, we're also bringing the CodeProject community to the attention of the larger developer community.
There are interesting folks right here at the CodeProject and, as Sean noted, we'll have more interviews with them in time. I've also been talking to some very interesting and influential people who aren't involved here (yet)... but no more on that until we actually have interviews in hand.
Speaking of which, the real secret of our plan is: the people we've published interviews with so far are the people who've replied in a timely manner. Hint hint.

Excuse me for my improper grammar and typos.
It's because English is my primary language, not my first language.
My first languages are C# and Java.
VB, ASP, JS, PHP and SQL are my second language.
Indonesian came as my third language.
My fourth language? I'm still creating it, I'll let you know when it's done!

When I just saw Notification Window[^] I couldn't help but notice how this article already got two good votes (and probably well deserved, haven't checked). Now articles of this size usually don't even make it published because the article is to short! "Article too short, consider reposting as tip"... And I have said this quite some times as well. The usual answer "I can't post my code in the tip/tricks section". As far as I can see this is still the case (or have I missed something?).
It seems very unfair to me that some short articles make it big while most never get past the moderation queue (even though both have good code).
I also think it is limiting for developers who obviously have written good code, but do not have time or skills to write a good long article about it, but still want to publish their code for others to use and learn from.
It seems logical to me that tip/tricks can have downloads just like articles can.
And is it a good idea to maybe have something like "code only 'articles'" for all those people who write brilliant code, but not articles? Perhaps with a minimum of x (100 or so) words to force these people to at least shortly write what the code does.
Just some idea's

Just saw the white background on the left-hand menu for the forum that is currently active. Neato!
Hey Nish, has that been around a while too?

Under the "Rate this article" section, no radio buttons appear. Clicking on the "Vote" button says, "There was an error while trying to rate this item. Please try again later." My account uses a confirmed email address.
Edit: this works fine in Firefox.
