When a solution is deleted the points are not removed (user gets to keep the points for answering the question), not sure if that is by design or an oversight...

Good question. When I posted my first answers, then after removing an answer, the points were nullified. But then, there came an update in November 2012, that changed the voting system of the message boards for example, and after this update, removing answers doesn't nullify points anymore (but I don't know whether it is a bug or by design).

I tried to use this code in my article:
<pre lang="cs">void Number()
{
<div style="font-size: small;"> int la0, la1;
bool dot = false;
la0 = LA0;
if (la0 == '.') {
Skip();
dot = true;
}
MatchRange('0', '9');
for (;;) {
la0 = LA0;
if (la0 >= '0' && la0 <= '9')
Skip();
else
break;
}</div>
<strong>la0 = LA0;
if (la0 == '.') {
if (!dot) {
la1 = LA(1);
if (la1 >= '0' && la1 <= '9') {
Skip();
Skip();
for (;;) {
la0 = LA0;
if (la0 >= '0' && la0 <= '9')
Skip();
else
break;
}
}
}
}</strong>
}
It seems that something in CodeProject tries to encode the HTML (not what I wanted), but also inside the <strong> element, something weird happens. Maybe it happens in comment boxes too, so I'll demonstrate:
void Number()
{
<div style="font-size: small;"> int la0, la1;
bool dot = false;
la0 = LA0;
if (la0 == '.') {
Skip();
dot = true;
}
MatchRange('0', '9');
for (;;) {
la0 = LA0;
if (la0 >= '0' && la0 <= '9')
Skip();
else
break;
}</div>
la0 = LA0;
if (la0 == '.') {
if (!dot) {
la1 = LA(1);
if (la1 >= '0' && la1 <= '9') {
Skip();
Skip();
for (;;) {
la0 = LA0;
if (la0 >= '0' && la0 <= '9')
Skip();
else
break;
}
}
}
}
}
Yup, the glitch is happening in the comment preview too. Hint: this text is not bold.

If the author edits the article then the approval count gets reset to zero and the article goes back on the pending queue.

Ok. I just had a look at Revisions tab and i am not able to see the Article version that is in moderation queue. Am i missing some thing?

They are currently only at 2 and 3 reports respectively.

Ok. I think they came again in moderation queue just after i pressed Approval. The confusion was there because i saw 5 reports after that[Snapshot].

I would have downvoted this one,but i didn't. Some of your answers were down voted by me with reports. You have habit of copying the title of the question and paste it into google,then posting links to that as answer. Go through your own answers list and you will feel it. All the times,its not necessary that OP failed to find the answer through google.
Well,after these many times being banned,don't you still understand that you can not make money out of the reputation points? Well,many members(including you) know what i am talking about.

Oh...rohan...so you mean to say down voting is the solution..
and then again i don't have problem in down voting until an unless it's genuine and the person down voting have the courage to state the reason in the comment box.

Snehasish_Nandy wrote: the person down voting have the courage to state the reason in the comment box We are not here to show "courage". I stated what i meant by down voting the answers[I am not sure whether you are getting notification about report or not]. I also posted you example link of the answer on how unclear it is.

and Rohan i m really impressed by the contribution and ethic you are showing on behalf of CP..
seems like all the other higher members given all the responsibilities to you only..

This is not all about which responsibility given to whom, I think forum is total about solving the technical needs of user. Down-voting & up-voting is just kind of facility which is provided by CP not a bank account by which could make money.
