I second that.
Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better idiot-proof programs, and the Universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the Universe is winning

Sometime in the last week email notifications were turned on for my profile. I did not do that.
|
|
|
|
|
Did you disable them? I checked and notifications are not enabled for your account.
What emails were/are you getting?
|
|
|
|
|
Yes I disabled them, just before I posted here.

As stated in subject.

Not anymore...
Skipper: We'll fix it.
Alex: Fix it? How you gonna fix this?
Skipper: Grit, spit and a whole lotta duct tape.

I know. The problem is, this has happened before and indicates there's something awry.

This appears to be a caching issue. We have been investigating this, but due to its very intermittent nature is hard to pin down.
Fortunately, the cache is refreshed often to keep the data fresh, so it fixes itself quickly.

Thanks.

Did you even bother to see Title of the forum? Even with the appropriate forum, there are very less chance that you will get an answer with such questions.

Definitely the wrong place.
Try here: http://www.codeproject.com/Questions/ask.aspx[^] - but try to explain what you have tried, where you are stuck, and what help you need. We aren't a "code writing service"!

In the Survey Voting Form for Best Database Article of August 2015 there are two articles that doesn't have anything to do with databases.

They're a bit more Web Dev, but the slim pickings meant that some DB related tags snuck them in. We will consider that when making the final call.
And don't call me Shirley.

I think that the closure of question Is there any way to use vertical bar - | - between variables?[^] could be reconsidered.
I agree that the question seems to pose a desired solution, but it is not the case that it "has not been phrased in a way that allows a reasonable answer to be provided", since I provided a solution which I think was quite reasonable.
Alternatively, if a question is closed that has solutions, then at least keep those solutions accessible to be read.
