Chris, I have pretty much the same question as asked here: Defaulf-licence[^]
Code from this article CheckComboBox Control[^] was included into our code base and we need to go through an approval process. The article is from 1999 and no license was selected at the time it was published.
I checked the author's profile page and he has not been active here since 2002.
Please advice.

We decided to go in a different direction, so this is no longer an issue for us.
I still think it is a general question that should be addressed if at all possible.

when i browsing site from IRAN ip css style`s not working ,
and when i browse with my vpn outside of IRAN everything works fine.
It may because of css file location that is somewhere that filtering Iranian users (like code.google.com and ...!).

I'm not a site admin but maybe this helps you:
The CSS styles are located at a different domain (codeproject.cachefly.net, see also Wikipedia[^]). So it may be be that this is filtered in your country but you may also check first if not filtered by you (e.g. by NoScript with Firefox).

In Forum(Question-Answer) section, authors use "code" to format/display code properly when answering/questioning. Like "Javascript" tag use to define javascript code. When we are adding razor code it is not properly displaying like other tags. So there is requirement to add one more tag as "Razor". Razor generally use in ASP.NET MVC veiw page.
This is a suggestion to CodeProject Team.

Razor is supported if you manually use
<PRE lang="Razor">
...code
</pre>
It's just not in the dropdown yet.

Thank you Chris for the info. It would be better if we add Razor drop down list instead of writing it manually

I realized my previous profile existed so I reset my password and logged in.
My profile showed a different (Gr)avatar.
Trying to reset or remove my avatar shows hungry hamsters and a suggested 'Illegal characters in path'.
I had used this image previously.

Try unchecking your Gravatar box. Hit save my settings. Then upload your picture and hit save my settings again.

This was today 5 or 10 minutes prior to my message.
Is the solution already live? Because it seems it could be working not properly.

If something has a solution... Why do we have to worry about?. If it has no solution... For what reason do we have to worry about?
Help me to understand what I'm saying, and I'll explain it better to you
Rating helpful answers is nice, but saying thanks can be even nicer.

The <pre lang="vb"> tag no longer context formats the code block as VB ... looks like C# colouring.
Not sure when it started ... or is it just a way of discouraging the use of VB?

The report option (red flag) is not shown anymore for me on user pages and articles (they were there about two hours ago). For Q&A the options are still present.
[EDIT]
The options are back again.

Does the poster get a notification (on CP or email) for a "Not publicly visible" message when the moderator thinks it's is not appropriate and deletes it from the moderation queue itself?
Also, if the message itself is not spam or abusive (but "may" not be appropriate for the forum - like social/public matters*), is there a penalty (like rep-point or +1 towards account nuking) for the poster against the deleted message?
