Because of the complains I opened a new account to check on my side and found one actually happening:
The site layout selection (fluid|fixed) at the bottom not saved... I select fluid and it returns to fixed after a few minutes... I never experienced it on my old account (or just forgot how to select it permanently )...
Please check it...
[EDIT]
It seems - after a few minutes of playing around - that cleaning the cookies stopped the switching-back-to-fixed-layout behavior... Wrong - after a night resting the settings are back to fixed...

Same I recognized also. Maybe there is a global acc Setting?

If there is I couldn't find it...

Also in Q/A the filter "Interested" will be set randomly. I cleared it several times, but after open cp it will Show me usually a new set what I'm interesting in.... or I don't get the Point of the filter
This did _not_ happen in the former account.

I will check it too...

Thanks for this. I'm going to tackle this one tomorrow.

An update after back in the morning...
The site is on fixed again (I left it fluid last evening) and all forum has the setting Layout: Open All, even it was Normal yesterday...
|
|
|
|
|
It seems to be working new as expected. Even logout-login restore the selection...
|
|
|
|
|
There is one more bug still occurs to me - the forum layout is back to Open All after a night rest or a logut-login...

Any blockers? Ad blockers, proxies, cookie blockers, firewalls blocking things, company security settings - anything that could be messing with cookies, basically.

No blockers, proxies. But using an rdp Connection of Company to browse CP, so Company Settings can be a reason (even they are usually not Special restrictive).
Will now connect directly from my Laptop (home net) and observe.

You'd mentioned that the Google CAPTCHA wasn't working for you which suggests something's a little odd with your browsing.

"You'd mentioned that the Google CAPTCHA ....":

[Edit]
But: While not browse CP over the Company Network, the q/a filter Settings looking good

q/a filter is back changing randomly also in my home net,

fixed/fluid
I was not really Aware about this, my old acount was always fixed.
My new acc seems to be preferably fluid by default, no matter how many time I set it to fix.
[Edit]
And the much more strange Thing is: It does Change from fix to fluid while visiting different sections in CP in one and the same "cp- session"

Same here. It also affects the settings in the page layout bar.

After getting stuck in reCAPTCHA hell for a good long while, I remembered why I stopped coming to codeproject. But this time I thought I would go ahead and create a new user so that I could get to someplace that I could tell you that your site is broken and has been for some time.
First off, your system tells me my password does not match. I struggle with this because I use a password repository and I've not changed my password.
Second, when I try to recovery my password, I'm stuck dead in the water because reCAPTCHA does not show anything in the popup. Nothing but white space. I have tried this on Firefox, Opera, Edge and IE, with exactly the same results. However, I have no issue with reCAPTCHA on any other site. So it would appear the problem is with codeproject.com.
Third, when I hit the submit button anyway, I get a message indicating that you can't verify cookies, which I'm assuming your looking for the reCAPTCHA cookie. But the message indicates that an email has been sent anyway. It never arrives! I know my email is still in your system as I'm not allowed to register with same email. So it would appear that you email process is broken as well.
Fourth, now perhaps my frustration has kicked into overdrive, but the only means of contacting that I could find is a phone number. Trust me, you don't want me on the other end of a phone right now.

All I can say is that you're the only person in all these years who has complained about our reCAPTCHA.
Do you have ad blockers (or any blockers?) in place?

There's the webmaster link in the footer of every page. Plus there's this forum.
I'll look into the email bug. That's an odd one. In terms of reCAPTCHA we're using Google's system, so the mechanics of it are out of our hands (and in the hands of a very, very capable company).
Email me (chris@codeproject.com) your email address of the other account and I'll get a temp password sent your way.
cheers

FYI: "This message has been flagged as potential spam and is awaiting moderation", even harmless Messages like my two as new comer.

And by the way, OP should be able to see the message and be able to adjust it ...

And all serious members (new comers) have to suffer?
I had an other acount this 0x01AA with some rep Points. None of my comments/Messages where refused. But now as a new comer everything will be denied. I think the Balance is not correct at the Moment. Only try to help.

I don't know if the spam filter treats new members differently. I just meant that giving the author of a flagged message the option to edit it probably isn't in the interest of filtering spam(mers).

The spam filter rules are quite clear and obviously picked something up in your message. I winder why?
