I'm using RSS Bandit, and the items in the Lounge RSS feed sometimes become right-aligned and italicized.
While I'm not completely sure, I believe it happens for all posts below Sarath's post. Maybe his sig is improperly formed.

Has there ever been any discussion as to having a unique view counter, well almost unique, based on the user viewing it. A Database space saver, would be to store a cookie on the author's browser and say, not increment the view, if it is them.

What are the thread subjects? Your link just opens the Work Issues / Certification / Resumes forum.

It would be nice if the articles listed would indicate the technology (C#, MFC, etc.)
CP has evolved from "Mostly MFC" to "lots of stuff", so article titles aren't as informative as they used to be. (I don't care about "Process Information in VB", but "in raw Win32" might be interesting to me)

Would it be possible to have an option to search top level posts?
Would make it much easier to find threads a few days back, and without the clutter created by many replies.

If you vote on a post and then return to it later it would be nice if it said "you voted 5" rather than displaying the option to vote again and they telling you that you cant vote twice.

I think this will lead to performance issue on the database.

Generally I like the new layout, but it would look even more cooler if you'd use some gradients, especially at the top of the page. The green row would look good as a light-green to normal-green gradient bar. The orange bar above it could also be a gradient, from light-orange to the darker one. The gradients should look "blending", like the task bar of the Windows XP Media Center theme (Royale).
Additionally the orange bar on the very left should be a lighter orange. Like the one in the forums.

It would be nice for authors to be able to know the last time their article was viewed and rated, in /articles/list_articles.asp . It would help authors decide which articles may be worthy of an update. Obviously not critical, but a nice-to-have.
Thanks,

I was thinking I could put the last viewed time on the article itself. It'd save a whole lot of processing and storage...

The timestamps could be stored (and displayed) wherever appropriate, but imho should prolly be displayed only for the author, a la the "Modify article" and "Delete article" links.
Thanks,

You need to be more blunt. Go out and make a "last viewed" timestamp for the article list (implemented entirely in client-side JS, of course), then come back and report it done...

I just want to note that I don't receive them anymore. The check-box is always checked. Others are experiencing the same problem.
