At the moment I'm seeing "Accept Solution" button for Q&A questions even though I'm not the author of the question. Is this on purpose?

Me too, looks like a permission flag may have been dropped.

May be the same issue:
- I can see a red "Reject solution" button on any accepted solution.
- I can see a "Create your message board" button on member pages for which I am not supposed to be able to create anything.
"Five fruits and vegetables a day? What a joke!
Personally, after the third watermelon, I'm full."

I see "Accept solution" button too.

Fixed, will deploy in a moment.

I have come across a number of QA 'solutions' recently posted by new accounts. In each case the OP just dumps some unformatted code that has no relevance to the questions, most of which were posted a year or more ago. I flag them as "Not an answer" but wonder whether some further, or different, action should be taken?

If you see a member doing this multiple times then it's definitely abusing the system, so please report them as such.

Chris Maunder wrote: If you see a member doing this multiple times Problem is, it is like with some spammers. They do it once and wait some time (or even long time).
Many times it is more a problem of several accounts doing it once than a problem of one account doing it several times.
I don't know if just testing things / our response... I don't know if they (the accounts) just get dropped or saved for a future wave.

There are two "Best article of November 2019" voting links at this time:
Which is kind of confusing.

And they both contain the same articles ...

Oh no. That was me. I put the wrong dates, hit submit, then stopped. Then I changed the dates and hit submit again.
I wasn't fast enough. I've made a temporary fix. But I will submit to the lash, and then ask for a real fix.
Thanks for the catch.

He doesn't have to be forced into his Mankini - he wore it for Casual Friday (and that got cancelled forthwith).

Seems to affect every QA page. I've tried in another browser, and I get the same error.

Seems to be working, but a bit "we failed to add your solution" when it has gone through ATM.

That was a bit hair raising. Still working backwards to find the root cause but it was some bad data that resulted in a null-ref that had escaped all our testing.

Fun.
What do you get when you cross a joke with a rhetorical question?

Do questions with multiple question marks annoy you???

When an account is disabled for spamming, any messages they may have posted (especially those that have links) should be automatically removed as well.

That's a difficult one: Yes, it would help "tidy up" the site, but ... we have had malicious "spammer" or "troll" reports which have closed accounts (this happened mostly in the early days after downvoting was prevented in the Lounge). And while it's good for actual spammers to lose all messages, I'd be quite annoyed if my account was restored and everything I'd typed in the last ten and a half years was gone ... I suspect you would as well.
Maybe remove all messages if the account was opened in a specific timeframe? ... But that means adding special cases and I don't like those if I can avoid them.

one of my roommate account is closed, saying that "Content has been posted that is abusive and trolling", he himself not aware of that when this happened and without any warning etc account is closed. he has contributed lot in this forum and very annoyed that all his articles/blogs are destroyed.. any chance to get it reopen and get the all data back? if yes please suggest.. we are people who help in most of forums like code project and sometime challenging each other go into different direction.. i feel code project should give one warning before deleting full record which people take years an years to do. please suggest if any request can help my friend.
