OK, I guess I've just found it...
Meanwhile, I promise that for my next doping test I will not give a positive result...

I can't quite recall what the section was called, but the front page used to have, at the bottom, a section with top rated / voted articles from the past few weeks. This was the 'view' that I used most often to find quality articles.
Is it located somewhere else now?
(I think the new design is slowly growing on me!)

Just at the bottom of upvote thumb icon, a small orange transparent rectangle is present. Should not be there.

This happens on articles as well.
I think computer viruses should count as life. I think it says something about human nature that the only form of life we have created so far is purely destructive. We've created life in our own image.

The box around the solution header appears to have shrunk, so that the top horizontal line runs straight through the text:

[edit]Just noticed: the box around the voting stars for the actual question is shrunken in the same way, but horizontally instead of vertically.[/edit]

Nice ASCII art.
I've fixed it and will hopefully get a deploy out tonight.

I wondered what happened there. Another 'Magical Mystery Maunder Moment'?

Looking at my reputation events, I see:
22 Sep 2012 5:38 PM 80 Author Article Upvoted Article StringBuilderPlus Improves Upon StringBuilder
22 Sep 2012 5:27 PM 80 Author Article Upvoted Article StringBuilderPlus Improves Upon StringBuilder
I think when DrABELL changed his vote from 4 to 5, the vote was counted twice. Note that I do not see a "-80" to balance out the difference. Article: StringBuilderPlus Improves Upon StringBuilder.

What Sandeep explains about the notifications (that you can't go from the red button to any notification without seeing the notification list to vanish) also happens when the mouse hovers the user name... Then the list with "My settings, My contact info..." suffers from the same effect that the notifications list.
It seems that the white separation space that is between the user name and the list itself kills the lists...
PS: apart of that, again great job with the new layout!

When you start off at the new homepage, you get big buttons:
"Post an article"
"Post a question"
"Search out articles" Assume you are a newbie, and you have a problem. So, you press the "Post a question button"
You are taken direct to the "New QA question page". All of this is fine. Except...in the default view, using my 1680x1050 monitor, and a "vanilla" IE9 browser, all I can see is:
Subject
Tags
Big textbox for the question
Start of preview
Lot of space on right hand side. What I can't see (and won't scroll down to look for) is the text:
A few simple rules when posting your question.
1.Have you searched or Googled for a solution?
2.Be specific! Don't ask "I need to write a booking application". Specify exactly what it is you need help with.
3.Keep the subject brief but descriptive. eg "How do I change the dialog colour?"
4.Keep the question as concise as possible. If you have to include code, include the smallest snippet of code you can - do not dump your entire codebase.
5.Tag your question appropriately.
6.Your question may be edited or retagged by others. Anything inappropriate will be removed.
7.If you have a school or university assignment, assume that your teacher or lecturer is also reading these forums.
8.Be courteous and DON'T SHOUT. Everyone here helps because they enjoy helping others, not because it's their job.
9.Do not remove or empty a message if others have replied. Keep the thread intact and available for others to search and read.
10.Do not be abusive, offensive, inappropriate, harass anyone on the boards or post ads or spam. Doing so will get you kicked off and banned. Play nice. Can we not move this to the right hand side of the textbox, so it is immediately visible, and at least suggests they should use Google first?

Try it now.
The RH layout is how we originally had it, but I forgot why we moved it down.

Much, much more noticeable!
I doubt that they will read it, but at least they have to see it!

No more persist with mouse over. I take my mouse on the red background number, it opens a notification div. I try to take my mouse slowly over it so that I can click on one of the notifications. I fail. Notification div vanishes as soon I leave number with red background. Finally, I have to click the number or the div to land on 'My Notifications' page and then see the notifications.
Earlier it was not like this.

I faced the same in morning, but now I am used to it. But bug is a bug.
You need to be quick enough to pass that blank space between red box and notification div.

Yep, the same happens here with my Firefox. Note that this bug applies to the menu that pops up when you hover the cursor over you profile name. Just wanted to post this bug but its already done.
