Space battles. Han Solo and Chewie. Leia, Luke and a guy in a mask with a light saber. Oh, let's not forget the small robot, Threepio, Artoo and the X Wings.

I spotted that one of my blog items was posted twice, probably by accident, and tried to remove one of them:
http://www.codeproject.com/Members/SAKryukov?msg=5157458#xx5157458xx[^].
It wasn't permanently removed as I wanted.
This is not the only problem. On my first attempt, I tried to remove it when the blog was configured as read-only. After the confirmation, I got a warning about this option, which is irrelevant, because the read-only option is not just "read-only", it's "read-only for non-owners". Moreover, the post wasn't actually removed.

First one: if you paste some HTML with an img tag, the display as preview on the paste options pop up actually displays the image.
Second one: on my iPad with mobile Safari, the menus don't stay oven for very long (about one second). That is quite annoying.
What do you get when you cross a joke with a rhetorical question?

Do questions with multiple question marks annoy you???

I get the same on Android / Chrome, but it's easy to work round. Instead of tapping the menu header, I long hold it - which pops up an option to open it in a new tab. I press "back" to cancel the popup, and the menu is now open, and stays open.

Mobile Safari is kind of finicky and closes it instantly if I do that. It also crashes quite often.

But it's an Apple product! I was told (repeatedly) that they have no bugs, will have no bugs, and can never have had bugs!

I was on iOS 8, which was buggier than a termite mound. I am on iOS 9 now and will see how it goes.

Typing (.*) in a QA answer, with
(.*)
in a following code block, results in both "*"s disappearing, and the text between them being shown in italics.
On editing the answer, the preview is shown correctly.

Hi,
The front page hasn't updated with the titles for the latest entries in the lounge/insider news/etc. for at least the last 24 hours.

Then it isn't only my problem - I thought it was related to the Nazi Internet policies of my company.

So what would happen if you 'reported' something as a repost? It gets removed? Not everybody would have seen it the first time round.
|
|
|
|

If I see a post on QA, then later, the same post is posted on the C# forum, I would like to be able to flag the post on the C# forum as a 'Repost because I believe such a post is neither abusive (in the usual sense of that word), or spam.

Maybe a title change adding " - Reposted" in the subject a countdown to auto nuke of the message as long as there are no answers?

Instead of "repost" how about "cross posted?"

This is on our TODO. The issue for is is that the forum report system is different than the general site reporting system, so adding new report features is beyond painful. Once we move it over to use the main reporting system then it's all easy and you'll get them and more.

What good is being able to search on a single month, with no year? I can understand "In Last Month", "In last 3 Months", etc. but just "April"?

Taken some introduction about cloud business apps from MSDN site????? Copying whole content and changing just images is not called 'some',its called plagiarism which is not allowed at all. Admins will decide whether to reactivate your account or not,but i don't think they will as this is the clear case of 'Copy-Paste' job.

CTRL+A, CTRL+C, CTRL+TAB, CTRL+V does not an article make.
Suppose you wrote an Android app, and I came along, took a copy, called it "Flappy Birds", and was pulling down $50,000 a day in advertising revenue? You'd have a right to be very annoyed!
But that's what you did: took something that probably took three guys a week or more to produce, filed the serial numbers off, and said "I wrote this!".
To be a moderator here, you have to write articles - which means that every moderator knows how much work is involved. And along you come, decide that a short cut via theft is much easier, and then complain when you are caught?
No, the rules are simple: plagiarism is a capital offence!
But thanks for telling us about this sock puppet account: we'll keep an eye on that as well...
