What is the best way to play .wpl video in my aspx page without using window media player control?

I have used html5 tag to play for any other format of video but i couldnot make ".wpl" video play in aspx page .I would appreciate if some body can help me with this .

html5. Triedto use window medial player control but could not get the proper dll to add the WPL control in vs.

Can you change the video format? Try to convert the video to mp4, or another video format:

I don't have much idea on this but want to know , If its possible to play it without converting? Or Is there no way playing this format of video without converting.

Solution 1

WPL files are just a playlist in xml format. try parsing the file and playing the video files listed in it in a for loop with the htnl5 video player
