An exception in saving excel file C#

system.runtime.interopservices.comexption(080010108)this exption apear when i run my progrm in other computer in the button1 event this button write in to excel file and show dialog to the user to specify its location although this program run well on my computer without any exception

What I have tried:

i coudnot find any answer for this exception

As a starting point for further investigations:
Error 0x80010108 is RPC_E_DISCONNECTED, "The object invoked has disconnected from its clients".

I have no access to the system where the problems occurs, does not know about the code being used or even which Windows and Excel versions are involved.

So I can't really help.

If you perform a web reserach with the error message, you get some results. Check them if they apply to your case.

Did the user close the excel file manually? I've seen a similar error when that has happened

Solution 2

You need Excel installed on any machine you run this app on. All the app is doing is automating Excel, so if Excel is not installed there is nothing for it to automate.

excel is already installed and after this exception i found this excel sheet in its location and i can open it !!
