Hi to all who view this

I created a windows desktop app and used the click once to publish it, there is a mdf file attached and I'm saving it to a folder on my c drive.

When I test the app it works on my side and 2 other pc's but on the one computer it throws an error.

This computer(where the error is on) does not have SQL installed.

All the Prerequisites and Application files are there...

Here is the error : a network-related or instance-specific error occured while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections.(provider: SQL Network Interfaces, error: 26 - Error Locating Server/Instance Specified)

Any help?
Thanks

The server was not found or was not accessible - this shows that the SQL server isn't installed or the server name isn't the same as your code. do you have sql installed is the database attached etc?

I have SQL installed on my side but this app needs to get out to a big company and I dont think all the users will have SQL installed...everything is correct on my side if you know what I mean?

They'll have to install SQL or you have to search for an alternative that most users have. Can't serve them all, or else you might as well make a Mac version and versions that are compatible with Win 2000 and lower...

Doesn't one click install all necessary components for you though?
