I don't know whether I can ask this question here or not.
Is there any rules to answer a question here?Because I answered some questions which is working fine.Still my answer is down voted.Is there any rules for answering a question?If yes where can I find those rules.?Please help me.

You can (perhaps unfortunately) vote as you please, so it could just be that he doesn't like you, miss clicked, found a spelling mistake etc. Some people dont have any standards you know :laugh:

Ah that would explain it, but there aren't really any strict rules here, we kind of just self police this Q&A section, for better or worse.

Only the person who down voted you can say for sure, but if you mean this one: How to calculate no of sundays between two dates[^]
Then I'd guess it's because your answer was to a question that was posted in 2011 and in practice added nothing useful.

Answering old questions is a bad idea: it may seem like an easy way to get reputation points, but it is considered a form of abuse and may lead to you being banned from the site. I would strongly suggest that you keep to modern questions if you want to remain...
