Add a textbox and a button that says "search"
If you want more detail you have to give us more detail.

you can try to use Custom Search from Google. Easy to integrate with the web site.

What would be search? What service are you providing? Where to search? In your db or file system?

Maybe the best option is to use Google's Custom Search API[^]
