I need to buy a new laptop which I will be using mainly for .Net development. I will also need SQL Server Express (but might not install it on the laptop as well).

I was thinking about a laptop with something like this:
CPU: Intel Core i7 (4th generation)
Ram: At least 8Gb
HDD: Preferably SSD for Windows and some 500Gb for data.
VGA: No idea here, but I want to connect 2 external monitors for sure when at my office.

As a screen size, I was thinking about 14" or 15" since I will need my laptop for traveling as well so I don't want something which is way too heavy.

For my budget, I was thinking somewhere £1,200 but I would increase my budget if I find a perfect fit for my description.

Any help, would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry, didn't know this. So, I can't ask hardware details in code project?

Of course, many people can advise something reasonable in many cases, but this is not a supposed purpose of this very forum. After all, I answered...

Just the idea. These days, the laptop power is not so critical requirement for development. Anything not too obsolete can do. Your configuration would be more than enough.
