Error in report generation

I have an existing report which I have created with report builder.
When I am trying to connect to data source and select stored procedure, I am getting this message
"Could not update a list of fields for the query. Verify that you can connect to the data source and your query syntax is correct"

There is no problem with my Query syntax and accessing the data source. Due to this issue, I cannot update the query used in the report. How do I resolve this issue?

I am also getting an error when trying to run the report.
"An error has occurred during report processing. (rsProcessingAborted)
