Avoid Page Refresh during cascading dropdown?

I have build cascading drop downs for country, province and city. the problem i facing is that when i select a countery then page is post back and returned his related province with page is being refreshed. i want to avoid this refresh of the webpage during post back.
How can i do this.

Put your drop downs inside UpdatePanel which will not refresh the entire page.

Yes, there will be a postback when you select dropdownlist. Country dropdownlist go to server and fetch data and load state/province dropdownlist. As per virang_21 said you can put your dropdownlist inside an UpdatPanel and set update panel update mode property to partial will help update only the region inside the update panel. It avoid unused full page postback
