reducing size of an image using c#

Hi,
Can anyone tell me how to reduce an image's dimension to half when i upload an image using fileupload control.Suppose if i have an image of size 720x360 pixel image.it should be uploaded as an image with size of 360x180 pixel. Can anyone help me please.God bless you.

Just to be accurate, you are actually talking about making the image 1/4 the size of the original image, not 1/2 the size. That's fine, I just thought I would bring it up because there is a difference.
