I think client side spooler (winspooler.drv) and Server side Spooler(spoolsv.exe) communicates each other not through printer port. is it correct ?

Normally serverside spooler attaches portmonitoring dll to its address space

So how can I monitor the printer port on the client machine using print monitor?( printserver is remote machine /internet printer)

So whether to monitor tcp/ip port ? Whether StartDocPort function is called on the client machine ?

I want to monitor printer port for a shared CUPS Printer using internet port from My client machine (Windows8 x64)

printer port is like https://.... like url

Please give suggestion to work it out. Expecting a valuable reply,

Thanks & Regards,

We need need Printer specific , But the general solution suitable to the printer it also needed.

The aim when notepade, winword.exe ctrl+p (print is given print dialog box is poped up then it OK) ou application gets notified for the CUPS Printer shared through internet.

The printer port is like this https://printer.someclientsite.com/printers/there_Printer

Q1: Is the printer on your 'local' intranet / router box 'network', one to which you have physical access, in the building that you are occupying?

Q2: Is your client machine on the same 'network'?

Q3: Is the software, for the printer in question, installed on your client machine?

Ans Q1& Q2
Printer is not in our building , May be in US (client office) office in India Printer
address may be like https://printer.someclientsite.com/printers/there_Printer
Ans Q3 Yes the software is installed in the client machine (our machine ) CUPS Inter net printer at very distant plaqce connected by internet.

Then set it up as a printer on the client machine so that you can print to the printer at remote site, client machine and printer, need to be on the same 'network', you have to be able to see it, in your 'Control Panel' or under 'Devices and Printers', once you have made the connection, and can print to it, then you will be able to monitor it.
