How to link external Horizontal ScrollBar with edit box

Hello Friends,

Q1)I am trying to link horizontal scroll bar with an edit box by dragging-dropping the scroll bar(Horizontal) from resource editor rather than enabling the horizontal scroll bar using multiline of edit box, but i find no such samples, can someone please help me?

Q2)Can the horizontal scroll bar of the edit box (in edit box properties using multiline)be handled by some external command?

Why make things difficult for yourself? Edit controls have integrsted scrollbars which require almost no work to implement.
