Two things:
1. Your question is not clear enough.

The question is impossible to answer because we know nothing about your "time and attendence machine".

There is standard method to connect and communicate with these things, so you'll have to get the documentation on the device to get this information or contact the manufacturer of it for any developer document they may have.
