Hi,

Hope every body is familier with Google Chrome offline Installer. One have to just double click it, and after some time it will be installed without pop up. I want to create a installer same like it. But have no clue what technology used here (C++?)

Any body have any Idea how they implemented this. No code but just any clue

Thanks

Thumbs up for NSIS. I just recently was in need to create an installer and nsis perfectly served my needs (an installer for my build artifacts).

The google project for their installer is called google omaha by the way. I had a short peek in it and it seems there has to be a lot of customization done and generally the documentation is not pretty verbose. Here's the link if you're interested: http://code.google.com/p/omaha/

Please stop posting non-answers as "solution". It can give you abuse reports which eventually may lead to cancellation of your CodeProject membership. And the fact you even self-accepted on formally is just outrageous, a sure way for a ban. I hope you won't do it after this warning.
