how to convert amount to words in uk style

how do i convert any amount say 3033.03 to words
and i want it to be like "three thousand and thirty three dollars and three cents".
to words function in vb.net is not given me this, rather in us style. But i want the answer in uk format so can any body help me?

If you want decimal, then I think you can just replace "dollar" with "pound", "cents" with "pence" and "cent" with "penny".
