First of all I found only one tag 'General' to post my question. And please try to understand why I put this question in technical forum.

I have spent around 4 years in programming. I have knowledge of various computer languages and technologies like .Net and Rails and ect.. I have changed jobs frequently, I have good salary but never produced anything useful till today. I can clear technical interviews easily but uncomfortable to produce valuable output. Many a times I have spent good amount of time to solve problem but someone takes over my work and solved problems in couple of hour.

What you think, do I have any future in Software Industry.

You can be as harsh as possible, because you cannot compare with reporting managers I have faced in my life.

Not sure what you expect of complete strangers on the internet. If you want to do software, then do software. If not, do something else.

I agree with you,but I willing to do Software but not able to do it.

I second the sentiments from Wes. This is not a psychological forum.

Well, you need to decide for yourself if you want to be a better person in the software industry, if ya want to ... then check out CP's forum, read articles and books, look at how other developers solve their problems and how you can improve yourself. Rome was not built in a day, plus nobody's perfect, we all strive to be better or you can decide to switch jobs and I think you should have used the 'Lounge' to post your question.

Geekbond, thanks for your suggestions. I will post this to Lounge.

Off-topic, apparently. Well, yes, let's talk a bit of off-topic…

You are dissatisfied, and dissatisfaction is one of the major driving forces of the progress. First, to encourage you, I up-voted your question by my 5, due to that reason.

Do you understand how many people completely suck, but arrogantly speak with people who are many orders of magnitude more capable then they? What, you don't? Then look at other questions. I can tell you few quite rude and extremely hopeless "developers" (these two "qualities" correlated pretty well). And you are not one of them.

There is one more important component then: you need to realize yourself as a powerful creator, not loosing your responsiveness to criticism and and self-criticism, as well as critical thinking in general. In them — get to really hard work. No wining, no excuses — thorough thinking, reading, learning the theory (especially if other consider it useless) and fundamentals in general, analysis of your mistakes and learning on them. Good physical well-being, good sleep, active working days. Not stopping on the achievements. Sense of humor.

(By the way, I'm already started to get envy to you. I wish I would be like that myself :-).)

Good Point, Sergey +5! A little to add I would like you to pay more attention to the real requirement of the market and life. Let your solution join the market and life. That will enpower much more. Cheer!

Thank you, Panvdi.

This is not really a question - it doesn't have a definitive answer.

The best thing to do would be to repost this in the forums where a more discursive format is encouraged - but take the responses with a grain of salt, and don't be offended if your are called an idiot a few times!

Here is a good start: The Lounge[^]
