better/easy way to handle around 100 checkbox

Switch has nothing to do with "generate events". The even is generated by a hardware driver, basically. Of course, switch is absolutely bad here, but you can get a real advice only if you explain what those check boxes mean, why so many. Without that, the question makes no sense.
