i am developing web apps....i want to know about the Home Page in web applications...its importance and how can i make and use of it for my Application.
Examples will be helpful.

What is it that makes you think a users home page has anything to do with your web application?

Do you mean the initial page that loads when you browse to your web application? Are you using MVC or WebForms?

Home page is the landing page when the user hits your web app site. The web is completely over-saturated with apps that help you connect with a social network, make grocery lists, manage large projects, decide who will make tea and every other crazy task you can imagine. With all of this competition, how can you possibly convince visitors? Answer is home page.
