i am trying to install MS sqlserver 2008 r2

its giving this error
SQL Server 2008 R2 - There are validation errors on this page. Click OK to close this dialog box. Review errors at the bottom of the setup page, then provide valid parameters or click Help for more information.

Note : on Service account Tab


how can i solve it??

What are the errors on the bottom of the setup page as it is telling you to check?

provide more info like error message, in which OS?

Sounds like installer itself told all the issues and you just need to solve it reading.

The error message is not very helpful to us - but it tells you exactly what to do:

"Review errors at the bottom of the setup page, then provide valid parameters or click Help for more information."

So do it!

these error are coming
1) The credentials you provided for the SQL Server Agent service are invalid. To continue, provide a valid account and password for the SQL Server Agent service.

Installing SQL server can be a PITA - I have to work out what everything means when I do it (probably because I don't do it often, thankfully). Remove you installation, and any other versions, then try again. Have a look at this before you start - it guides you through the process:
