Hi,
I am working in intranet. How can I create alias for web site.
I have tried with changing hosts file situated at system 32, but is not working.
Any ideas please.

You can act directly on IIS for creating "alias" for your intranet website.

This is correct, but editing 'hosts' file on intranet clients or registering alias in intranet DNS is also required. Otherwise, clients will not be able to resolve site alias to a IP address.

True. Also the best approach will be adding an alias on FQDM on domain DNS if possible.
