Add up entries in the database as clicked on a button or Image Link

Hi,
I want to make simple application in which it is needed that when image or button clicked then this click add the system current date time into the Time in column, and when clicked next time it should add the system current time time out column of the db.
So what should I do to ping database using my clicks on image that is linked directly to db or button that can also be used for the same purpose.
