The grid view does not visible but when execute (data binding is done) then only it gets visible.why?

Check if you are setting the height and width of gridview during runtime.

in design page grid not visible..at execution only it shows...

now i got it.....that is we have to put gridview within the contentplaceholder correctly...

it doesnot display in browser,when we bind the values in gridview tat time only it appear
