I have been searching forever but cannot find what i need.i just need a simple straight forward example of how to create this file upload and download with c#.i know it has alot of elements but all i need is a basic understanding of how it all comes together.

There are a lot of file upload controls you can use so you may want to pick one, try it and then let us know if you have issues.
