Well, here is, what is expected by enquirers:
1. TRY first what you want to do!
2. Formulate what was done by you that looks like an issue/not working.

Try them and tell if you face issues.

That is lex.
You question isn't clear. What do you intend to do?
Do you want to build yourself a lexical analyzer generator like lex?
Or do you need to generate a scanner for your grammr using lex?

Please tell us: is urgent... :rolleyes:
