And roaming about that site did not give you any hints as to what a Honeynet is?
:flabbergasted:

Analogous to a Honeypot[^] a honeynet is a network (instead of a host) that is left with intentional weaknesses and security flaws to attract attackers to intrude. These attacks are then analyzed and counter measures are devised to make real systems more robust against such attacks. The Honeynet Project[^] is a website dedicated to this effort of making networks more secure. Some interesting information can be found on the former (old) Honeynet website[^]. Try the link labled Know your enemy[^]!

Best Regards,

Manfred

If you had visited the link to the older website I posted you would have seen this:
"Founded in 1999, The Honeynet Project is an international, non-profit (501c3) research organization dedicated to improving the security of the Internet at no cost to the public. With Chapters around the world, our volunteers are firmly committed to the ideals of OpenSource. Our goal, simply put, is to make a difference. We accomplish this goal in the following three ways.
"

My guess is you don't seem to be into this reading thing too much. ;)
