explain holographic telepresence

Does anyone have any idea about

What exactly holographic telepresence is?
How does it work?

What I know is it creates presence of any structure on area where it is not physically present.

Yes it is somehow as revolutionary as TV and Telephone. I think we will see it in our daily life as soon as its production reaches to a reasonable price.
