Creating customized dropdown list

I need to create a dropdown list for textboxes, we should be able to search the contents in the database to fit it in the textbox. The first few letters typin in the textbox must show the related words with resembling names in database.

Have you googled first there are lot of articles available for auto completion of text box

I guess these type of controls are available in AJAX tool kit. Try to learn about the tool kit.
