.net code to connect with satellite

Hi friends,

I'm interested in DTH(direct to home) type services. so i want the knowledge regarding the connection with satellite. Is it possible to connect with satellite using c# language?. Which assemblies is used to connect? if possible post me a small block of code as an example

Note: i'm fascinated how they connect with satellite but i don't mean to acquire knowledge regarding DTH source code.

Solution 1

You don't "connet to a satellite". The "connection" is handled by the dish hardware, not your application. As far as your application knows, it's simply another route to send TCP/IP traffic. It will know nothing of the satellite or its hardware at all.
