gridview deleting a row with message

hi,
i am deleting a single row using linkbutton click in gridview....deleting is based on the id...for example
id 1234 having 3 entries means ..i deleted all entries 4th time i give that id 1234 means...it will shown the errror msg there is no value in this id......i want the code....entries are deleted to the backend also.......
