How exactly do you think a large database can be created for you?

I've suggested both a utility (admittedly only on windows 7) and a website. The CIA probably has a large database. Maybe we should send him there.

No, you cannot just download any old "large database" from anywhere. First, those usually have proprietary data in them that nobody is going to give up.

Next, you did't specify any kind of data requirements, like what you expect this database to contain.

Hell, you didn't even mention what database engine you want!

If you want a database to practice stuff on, Google for "Northwind database download" for Microsofts example database in Access or SQL Server.

If you want a database to test your app against, you'll have to create your own database and fill it with data. Why? Because your app is written against a specific database schema. Just downloading any old database isn't going to work for you. Google for "database generator" for tools to help with that.

No one Will Provide Large Database.First You Should Analize the Structure of Database Where Should use Normalization Tables and where should use StoredProcedures you Should think Practically then only u can create large database.

I want a database which contain min 20000 to 30000 records which may be any shopping card record like product id,name,prize or any customer info record like customer name,email,age(imp)like this.I want this database for my project I want to find out difference between searching data by applying index & without applying index & then I want to find out index from users search pattern.ie. when any user comes on the website which pattern he search so that by getting users query i want to find out best index for data search in database ie. index recommendation for high dimensional database using query workload.If you have any help please replay me.
