I have three Forms. The first form is an MdiContainer, the second is a MdiChild and third is a standard Form.

The second form will call by parent form and the third form will also call second form as a child form. :omg:

That being said, where is the question?

but try this code:

form2 frm2 = new form2();
frm2.mdiparent = form2;
(or frm2.mdiparent = frm3.mdiparent; //depends on your forms )
