Uploading in folder in root

Hi,
I want to test my project as it is giving error. But i dont want to disturb the main domain. So i am uploading it in a folder created in root. But it is giving error as i think it takes the bin folder of root.
Can anyone tell me what can i do to make it work in the sub folder in root of domain.

This is a strange idea. How do you think it can help "not to disturb" the main domain? Just forger it. Anyway, you did not report the issue and the error.

Solution 2

You can't do what you are trying to do unless you create a complete mirror of the site you wish to test. You can add as many subdirectories with bin folders that you want, but the web application will only see the bin folder in the root of the web app.
